Join a forward-thinking national legal team as an experienced Conveyancer. You will manage your own caseload of residential property transactions from inception to completion, with the support of a collaborative and professional environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Handle a full caseload of freehold, leasehold, and shared ownership sales and purchases.
- Conduct title checks and provide accurate, timely legal advice to clients.
- Prepare and review contract documentation and completion statements.
- Maintain clear, professional communication with clients, agents, and other parties.
- Liaise with the team manager on complex legal matters and escalate when required.
- Support junior colleagues with queries, contributing to team development.
- Keep up to date with regulatory changes and ensure compliance with internal procedures.
Skills & experience required:
- Proven conveyancing experience, with a strong working knowledge of residential property law.
- Experience with title checking for freehold, leasehold, and shared ownership properties.
- Excellent drafting skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a client-focused approach.
- Effective time management and ability to prioritise a busy caseload.
- Proactive problem-solving mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
