We are seeking a legally qualified Knowledge Lawyer / Professional Support Lawyer to deliver high-quality knowledge support to a market-leading Funds practice, which sits within a broader Financial Institutions and Financial Services group. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established and well-regarded Knowledge team in a supportive, collaborative environment. It suits both lawyers moving into their first knowledge role and those with prior knowledge management experience who want a high-profile position central to the firm's work. The role offers genuine flexibility, including full-time, part-time, and hybrid working arrangements.

You will work alongside an existing Funds Knowledge Lawyer and the wider Knowledge team to keep lawyers and clients up to date on legal and regulatory developments, create and maintain know-how resources, deliver training, and support business development initiatives. You will also contribute to the team's knowledge strategy and help drive innovation, including the use of AI tools and legal technology.

The Funds practice advises on the full lifecycle of investment funds across a wide range of strategies, including private equity, real estate, venture capital, hedge funds, infrastructure, and natural resources. The team also handles corporate work for wealth management and real estate sectors, advising both UK-based and international clients, with particular experience assisting US investors.

We welcome applications from legally qualified lawyers with relevant post-qualification experience, whether currently in private practice, in-house, academia, or a knowledge role, as well as those returning from a career break. We are happy to discuss any reasonable adjustments you may need during the recruitment process.

  • Qualified lawyer (solicitor, barrister, or foreign-qualified) with excellent knowledge of law, regulation, and practice in private funds, both domestic and international.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Proactive, self-starting approach with excellent organisational skills.
  • Experience in a knowledge lawyer, professional support lawyer, or fee-earning role within funds, with a willingness to transition into a knowledge-focused position.
  • Familiarity with legal research tools, know-how management, and a keen interest in legal technology and AI applications.
