Knowledge Director – Head of Corporate Transactions & Advisory, London

A leading global law firm is seeking an experienced Knowledge Lawyer to lead its London Corporate Transactions & Advisory group's Knowledge & Training and Thought Leadership function. This is a senior opportunity to manage a team of experienced knowledge lawyers and information specialists while shaping how practical knowhow and legal insight are captured, analysed and shared across a global network.

The Corporate Transactions & Advisory group advises on complex, high-profile M&A and corporate advisory work, including private M&A, joint ventures, restructurings and corporate governance matters. The role will work closely with partners and lawyers across multiple product groups, both in London and internationally.

The successful candidate will act as a "go to" resource on company law and corporate governance, maintaining and producing templates, delivering training, leading thought leadership and client communications, and supporting the firm's response to regulatory consultations. There will also be an important focus on driving the adoption and responsible use of legal technology and AI tools to improve efficiency and client service.

Collaboration is central to the role, involving knowledge teams across Private Equity, Debt Finance, Employment, Incentives and Real Estate, as well as global colleagues, external legal committees and bodies such as regulators and government departments.

• Existing Knowledge Lawyer (PSL) with significant senior experience in company law and corporate governance.
• Experience in M&A (including private M&A, joint ventures and reorganisations) beneficial.
• Strong drafting, attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Proven leadership, communication and analytical ability with high commercial awareness.
• Track record of keeping abreast of legal and regulatory developments.
• Strong interest in legal technology, AI and innovation; prior experience beneficial.
