Top-tier US corporate practice seeks a 4–7 year associate to join its San Diego office. The role focuses on advising public and private companies on capital markets transactions, SEC (’34 Act) reporting and exchange compliance, and corporate governance matters.

Successful candidates will manage day-to-day client workflows for public-company clients and support high-growth clients on financings, M&A and general corporate matters. The team is part of a nationally recognized corporate group with an international footprint and collaborative deal-driven culture.

Competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package are offered; the expected annual pay range for this position is $310,000–$420,000. The firm is an equal opportunity employer.

4–7 years of transactional experience with public and/or private companies (capital markets experience preferred)
Experience with SEC (’34 Act) reporting, exchange compliance and corporate governance
Proven ability to manage client relationships and handle high-volume, time-sensitive client demands
Prior experience in the corporate department of a national or international law firm and strong academic credentials
