Seeking a Licensing Associate to join a busy Licensing & Technology Transactions team with openings in San Diego, San Francisco or Boston. The role focuses on drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements for clients in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, medical devices and software.

Work will include licensing, collaboration and research agreements, clinical trial, manufacturing and supply contracts, NDAs, material transfer and other commercial arrangements. You will support strategic transactions, provide IP and regulatory guidance, conduct diligence, and collaborate closely with client business teams and in‑house counsel.

JD or LLM from an ABA‑accredited law school
Admitted or eligible for admission in California or Massachusetts
3+ years' law firm experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements for life sciences and/or technology clients
Background or degree in biology, immunology, biochemistry, or related field preferred
Knowledge of IP law (patents, trade secrets, trademarks) and experience with software/SaaS and technology transactions preferred
Familiarity with data privacy issues and an understanding of AI applications in technology agreements is a plus
Strong negotiation, drafting, communication, organization and teamwork skills; high attention to detail
