12-month, full-time (hybrid) legal consultant role supporting a major infrastructure and construction organisation in Melbourne. The role sits within a flexible legal resourcing team operated by a leading international law firm and offers exposure to complex commercial and infrastructure matters.

You will provide commercial, pragmatic legal advice on infrastructure and transport projects — with a particular focus on rail and rail refranchising — drafting and negotiating transactional and contractual arrangements, supporting project governance and approvals, and helping manage legal and contractual risks aligned to business objectives.

Minimum ~6 years' post-qualification experience in corporate/infrastructure matters.
Experience in top-tier private practice and/or large ASX-listed or equivalent organisations.
Demonstrated expertise in infrastructure/transport (rail, roads, energy) and contractual frameworks; rail transit and refranchising experience highly desirable.
Ability to deliver clear, commercially focused advice to senior stakeholders and support project governance and approvals.
Strong negotiation skills, commercial judgment and the ability to work autonomously.
Current practising certificate and right to live and work in Australia.
