Senior Associate opportunity to join a highly regarded foreign investment team advising on regulatory approvals for complex cross-border and domestic M&A. The role will involve leading foreign investment strategy and filings across a range of sectors, working with major corporate and financial clients.

This is a multi-centre role open to candidates based in Australia or internationally who can work from our Canberra, Sydney or Melbourne offices. You will be a core senior member of the team, taking responsibility for case management, technical advice and mentoring junior lawyers.

Proven, hands-on experience advising on Australia’s foreign investment regime and related regulatory approvals
Strong M&A and cross-border transaction experience in private practice
Excellent analytical, drafting and communication skills with commercial judgment
Demonstrated ability to manage matters and supervise/mentor junior lawyers
Right to work in Australia or ability to obtain necessary work visas
