Top-tier firm seeks a finance associate to join a market-leading Business Restructuring & Reorganization team in Dallas. The role focuses on debtor- and creditor-side work in chapter 11 cases and out-of-court restructurings, with an emphasis on liability management, DIP financings, bankruptcy exit financings and other special-situations financings.

Successful candidates will work on high-profile, capital-structure matters representing hedge funds, CLOs, private equity funds and other financial institutions. The position offers significant exposure to complex restructuring transactions and courtroom and restructuring-plan workstreams.

Law school class years 2019–2023
Significant experience representing creditors or borrowers in liability management transactions, DIP financings, bankruptcy exit financings and/or special situations financings
Experience with chapter 11 cases and out-of-court restructurings
Strong analytical, drafting and transactional skills; ability to manage document-intensive matters
