Senior corporate partner opportunity within a well-established Canadian corporate practice in Toronto. The role focuses on transactional work across M&A, securities and corporate finance, advising domestic and cross-border clients.

The firm is seeking a partner to lead engagements, develop business and mentor junior lawyers within a collaborative team. The position requires an experienced deal lawyer who will contribute to and grow an existing corporate platform.

Applicants must have a demonstrable, portable practice and a track record of originating and managing client relationships; this is a business-generating role.

Admitted to practise in the relevant Canadian jurisdiction (Ontario preferred).
Proven experience in corporate transactional work — M&A, securities and corporate finance.
Established, portable client base and demonstrable origination/business development capability.
Proven leadership and mentoring experience; ability to manage and grow a team and client portfolio.
