Senior counsel role in a finance, bankruptcy and restructuring group in the firm's Raleigh office. The position focuses on creditor-side insolvency matters, commercial bankruptcy litigation and related finance work.

This is a non-partner counsel track role with reduced billable-hour expectations compared with partner-track positions. The team handles contested insolvency litigation, pleadings and courtroom work alongside transactional restructuring matters.

Minimum ~3 years' experience in business insolvency, commercial creditor's rights and related litigation.
Experience preparing pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery and other court filings; conducting legal research and analysis.
Comfort preparing for and supporting trials, hearings and depositions.
Licensed in or immediately eligible for licensure in North Carolina.
Strong academic record and excellent written and oral communication skills.
