Top-tier national firm seeks a mid-level associate to join its Finance, Bankruptcy & Restructuring practice on the Financial Services team. The role is open in North Carolina with a strong preference for candidates based in Charlotte or Raleigh.

The position involves documenting, negotiating and closing secured and unsecured loan facilities, managing syndicated credit transactions, conducting deal due diligence and supporting matters through closing and post-closing stages. The team advises lenders and borrowers across commercial and corporate lending matters.

3–5 years of finance transactional experience (PQE)
Experience documenting, negotiating and closing commercial loan facilities; experience with syndicated credit facilities preferred
Experience or interest in tax-credit financings (e.g., LIHTC) is a plus
Proven ability to manage transactions from inception through closing and post-closing
Strong academic record, excellent written and oral communication, and high attention to detail
Licensed or immediately eligible for licensure to practice in North Carolina
