Counsel, Structured Finance — New York

Senior counsel role in a national finance practice focused on structured finance and securitization transactions. The hire will work on repurchase and warehouse facilities, syndicated credit lines, securitizations and related secured financings, with significant exposure to mortgage- and asset-backed platforms.

The role requires managing transactions from structuring through closing, including drafting, negotiating and reviewing complex transaction documentation such as repurchase agreements, credit agreements, pooling and servicing agreements, indentures, offering materials and intercreditor arrangements. Strong technical knowledge of servicing and collateral issues is preferred.

• 8+ years post-qualification experience in structured finance/securitization or secured lending
• Experience with repurchase and warehouse facilities, syndicated credit lines and securitizations
• Proven ability to draft, review and negotiate complex financing and securitization documentation
• Knowledge of mortgage- and asset-backed financing structures, servicing and collateral issues
• Excellent academic background and strong interpersonal and communication skills
