Growing US law firm seeks a debt finance associate to join its Finance & Banking practice. The role is open across US offices and focuses on leveraged and acquisition financings, secured lending and other debt transactions.

Day-to-day work includes representing lenders, borrowers and private equity sponsors on debt financings, participating in closings, drafting transaction documents and preparing issues lists. Familiarity with Article 9 UCC, commitment letters, and debt securities structures is helpful.

1–5 years post-JD transactional experience (debt finance, lending or private equity-related financings)
Experience representing lenders, borrowers and/or private equity sponsors on debt financings; exposure to secured lending and closings
Comfort drafting transaction documents and preparing issues lists; knowledge of Article 9 UCC and acquisition financing preferred
Juris Doctor (or equivalent) and strong academic credentials; prior training at a large law firm preferred
Ability to handle multiple matters, strong attention to detail and proven collaborative skills
