Emerging Companies & Venture Capital Associate — Corporate

Mid‑to‑senior associate role in a national emerging companies and venture capital team. The practice represents startups, growth‑stage companies, and the funds that invest in them across formation, venture financings, fund formation, and M&A.

Positions are open in multiple U.S. offices (West Coast locations among them). The role offers regular collaboration with experienced practitioners on sophisticated, transactional matters and access to standard employee benefits and discretionary bonus programs.

• Minimum 4 years' transactional experience at a law firm (venture, startup, fund, or corporate finance work preferred)
• Strong academic record and excellent references
• Proven skills in drafting and negotiating financing, corporate governance, and M&A documentation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong quantitative and Excel ability; ability to manage client and outside‑counsel relationships
