Midlevel associate role in a busy Emerging Companies & Venture Capital group based in the New York office of a leading US law firm. The team represents founders, startups and venture funds across formation, venture financings, fund work and M&A.

You'll work on a mix of formation and equity/debt financings, fund-related matters and strategic transactions for clients ranging from early-stage companies to large technology businesses. The role offers hands-on responsibility and collaboration with experienced practitioners on matters handled at a national level.

Minimum 4 years of relevant corporate/VC experience at a law firm
Admission to the New York bar
Strong academic credentials and references
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfort with financial concepts and Excel
Experience managing client and outside counsel relationships on financing and M&A matters
