National law firm with regional offices is seeking an experienced employment lawyer to join its employer-focused Employment team. The role offers exposure to both contentious and non-contentious work and the chance to contribute to a growing practice across the firm’s UK offices.

You will advise employer clients on day-to-day employment issues and complex, sensitive matters, represent clients in Employment Tribunal (and higher court) proceedings where appropriate, and work closely with HR and senior leadership teams as a trusted adviser.

The role provides genuine responsibility, opportunities to lead matters and develop a market profile, and scope to support and mentor junior lawyers. The team operates flexibly with hybrid working and a range of colleague wellbeing and inclusion initiatives.

Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 4 years PQE.
Strong technical grounding in UK employment law and tribunal experience.
Excellent client-handling and commercial awareness; able to build trusted relationships with employer clients.
Comfortable leading matters with appropriate supervision and supporting junior colleagues.
Motivated to contribute to business development and help grow the practice; sector experience (education, STEM/manufacturing) advantageous but not essential.
