9-month fixed-term in-house counsel role advising on a full range of employment and partnership matters for a large, international professional services group. The postholder will provide commercially focused legal advice across contentious and non-contentious employment matters, helping the business manage legal and regulatory risk.

The role supports operational projects such as TUPE, restructures, redundancies and outsourcing/insourcing, and will manage external counsel instructions where needed. The position is hybrid/remote with preference for candidates near regional UK offices (including Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds or Birmingham).

Qualified UK lawyer (or equivalent).
Proven employment law experience across contentious and non-contentious matters, including tribunal/ACAS processes.
Experience drafting and advising on employment and partnership documentation (contracts, settlement agreements, secondments, deeds of retirement).
Practical experience with TUPE transfers, restructures and redundancy programmes.
Experience in private practice and/or in-house, ideally within a large or international organisation.
Strong stakeholder management, commercial judgement and the ability to manage a varied, fast-paced workload.
