A Legal Director-level role within a busy construction team, handling predominantly contentious construction matters with opportunities to work on non-contentious projects.

The role involves working alongside experienced partners and senior lawyers, taking responsibility for client-facing advice, dispute management and advocacy/ADR where required. The team supports a varied client base and encourages business development and professional growth.

  • Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 8 years' post-qualification experience.
  • Substantial experience in construction law, predominantly in contentious/disputes matters; experience in arbitration and commercial construction litigation advantageous.
  • Strong client-facing skills and demonstrable ability to develop client relationships and contribute to business development.
  • Excellent drafting, advocacy and advisory skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure as part of a team.
