Experienced in-house lawyer sought on a 12-month fixed-term contract to provide pragmatic, commercially-focused legal support across commercial contracting, corporate structuring and governance, intellectual property and data protection.

You will act as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders across the business, enabling transactions and operational change while managing legal and regulatory risk. The role is offered on a hybrid basis with a preference for candidates based near one of the regional offices (Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds or Birmingham).

Qualified lawyer with substantial post-qualification in-house experience.
Proven track record drafting, negotiating and advising on commercial client/customer and supplier agreements, including tech contracts, SLAs, SOWs.
Practical experience in corporate governance and intra-group structuring and in advising on IP ownership/licensing and data protection matters.
Ability to advise senior stakeholders in fast-paced, regulated or professional services environments and manage competing priorities effectively.
