Senior role in the firm’s Risk function focusing on conflicts of interest, client/matter opening and legal technology. You will sit at the centre of the conflicts and onboarding process, advising on complex legal and commercial conflict issues and shaping risk decisions on new mandates.

The role combines technical legal work with commercial decision-making and delivery of innovation projects: improving conflicts workflows, enhancing data and automation across matter opening systems, and supporting adoption of engagement terms and waivers.

This is a UK-based, multi-office role offered on a hybrid working pattern. You will work with cross‑functional teams and be a senior escalation point on high‑risk or cross‑border mandates.

Qualified lawyer with 10+ years' PQE and at least 4 years' experience working in conflicts
Strong knowledge of professional conduct rules and regulatory frameworks (e.g. SRA and equivalents)
Practical experience with client onboarding systems and conflicts platforms (e.g. Intapp)
Demonstrable interest or experience in legal technology, AI or process and systems improvement
Proven track record advising on engagement letters, waivers and complex international conflicts
Excellent commercial judgment and stakeholder management skills, with confidence advising senior fee‑earners
