Employment Litigation Associate (Class Action Focus) — Employment & Labor

Senior-level associate opportunity in a national employment litigation practice, open to candidates in Los Angeles or San Francisco. The role focuses on defending employers in complex California wage & hour class actions and PAGA representative matters, with additional work on discrimination, harassment, retaliation, trade-secret, and other workplace claims.

Responsibilities include managing all phases of complex litigation in state and federal court, developing case and settlement strategy, drafting and arguing substantive motions, taking and defending depositions, overseeing discovery, participating in mediations and arbitrations, and mentoring junior team members. The position offers direct client contact, significant responsibility, and opportunities for leadership within a collaborative practice.

• JD from an accredited law school and active admission to practice in California
• 5+ years of employment litigation experience, including significant experience with California wage & hour class actions and PAGA representative actions
• Proven experience managing complex litigation matters and interacting directly with clients
• Strong legal research, writing, advocacy, deposition and courtroom experience; excellent case-management and organizational skills
