National labor & employment practice seeks an associate to join its Sacramento litigation team. The role focuses on defending employers in litigation and administrative matters, advising and training clients on workplace policies, and managing cases from intake through resolution.

Responsibilities include defending a broad range of employment claims (including wage-and-hour matters and discrimination/retaliation), representing employers in court, arbitration and administrative proceedings, and participating in mediations. Class action/PAGA experience is a plus but not required.

This position operates in a team-oriented environment handling high-volume, client-facing matters; hybrid work arrangements are available.

JD from an ABA-accredited law school and strong academic credentials
4–6 years’ litigation experience; employment/labor law background strongly preferred
Active California bar admission in good standing
Familiarity with federal and state administrative procedures and employer-focused litigation
Excellent written and oral advocacy, organization, and project-management skills
