The role focuses on defending employers in litigation and administrative matters, advising and training clients on workplace policies, and managing cases from intake through resolution.
Responsibilities include defending a broad range of employment claims (including wage-and-hour matters and discrimination/retaliation), representing employers in court, arbitration and administrative proceedings, and participating in mediations. Class action/PAGA experience is a plus but not required.
This position operates in a team-oriented environment handling high-volume, client-facing matters; hybrid work arrangements are available.
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school and strong academic credentials
- 4–6 years’ litigation experience; employment/labor law background strongly preferred
- Active California bar admission in good standing
- Familiarity with federal and state administrative procedures and employer-focused litigation
- Excellent written and oral advocacy, organization, and project-management skills
