Join a national employment practice growing its Edinburgh office as an employment solicitor. The role offers early responsibility on commercial and contentious employment matters, with exposure to large corporate, public sector and not-for-profit clients.

You will work across the full range of employment advisory and litigation work, including tribunal and civil litigation, restrictive covenant disputes and employment-related contracts. The team provides structured training and opportunities to contribute to high-profile, business-critical projects, including ESG-related employment issues.

The office operates as an integrated part of a wider employment department, offering collaborative support, clear progression paths and flexible working options.

  • Minimum 1 year PQE (candidates with more experience welcome)
  • Relevant employment law experience advising on advisory and/or litigation matters
  • Ability to manage a varied, complex caseload and work directly with clients
  • Strong team-working skills, self-motivation and eagerness to learn
  • Registered with the SRA or the Law Society of Scotland
