Employment Transactions Associate — Employment & Labor

Top-tier global law firm is seeking an associate with employment-law experience to join its Corporate/Private Equity practice in California. The role focuses on employment-related diligence for M&A transactions and counseling on day-to-day employment matters, including research and contract drafting.

The position offers exposure to transactional work alongside client counseling and the opportunity to develop a broader practice within the group. The team operates on a hybrid model with regular in-office presence in California and some flexibility for remote work.

• JD and active California bar admission
• 4–6 years of company-side labor & employment experience (transactional focus preferred)
• Experience supporting employment diligence on M&A and drafting employment-related agreements and policies
• Strong written and oral communication, research, and project-management skills
