Leading national law firm is seeking a partner to join its energy regulatory and transactional practice in the Houston office. The role focuses on regulatory counseling and transactional work across traditional and renewable energy matters.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record advising energy clients on regulatory compliance and transactional projects, and will work alongside a multidisciplinary team serving utilities, developers, and other industry participants. Experience with FERC and related regulatory regimes is desirable.

This is a partner-level lateral opportunity for an attorney with an established portable practice and the ability to develop and lead client matters in the energy sector.

Lateral partner with significant energy practice experience (senior-level)
Transactional and regulatory experience in energy and renewables
Experience with FERC or comparable regulatory bodies preferred
Demonstrated portable client relationships and business development capability
