Seeking a lateral partner to join a busy corporate team in Houston, leading complex M&A and transactional work across energy and technology sectors. The role combines deal execution across project development, commercial agreements, and capital markets transactions.

The successful candidate will have a portable practice and proven client relationships in renewables, oil & gas or energy-related technology, and will help grow cross-practice work with corporate and finance teams. This is a partner-level role with responsibility for originating business and mentoring junior lawyers.

Established partner with significant transactional/M&A experience.
Substantive sector experience in energy (renewables and/or oil & gas) and technology transactions.
Track record on project development, commercial contracts and capital-markets or finance-related deals.
Proven business development ability and a portable book of business; experience leading teams and mentoring associates.
Based in (or able to relocate to) Houston and available for partnership responsibilities.
