Senior transactional partner sought to lead and grow an Emerging Companies & Venture Capital practice from the firm's Houston office. The role focuses on representing startups, growth-stage companies, venture investors and cross-border emerging-market matters, working with deal teams on financings, equity and commercial agreements.

The firm is looking for a partner with an established, portable practice who can originate new business, mentor junior lawyers, and contribute to business development and client relationship management across the U.S. and international clients.

Established partner with a proven track record in emerging companies, venture capital and startup financings.
Portable client base and demonstrable origination history appropriate for a partner role.
Strong transactional experience (equity financings, investor-side and company-side representation, commercial agreements).
Comfort working with cross-border matters and collaborating with multi-office teams; Houston-based or able to relocate and admit in the relevant jurisdiction.
