Established international law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Houston litigation team focusing on energy and environmental matters. The role will handle complex trial and appellate work, regulatory disputes, and high-stakes defensive and enforcement matters across the energy sector.

The successful candidate will take a visible leadership role within the practice, work closely with cross-practice teams, and support business development efforts. There is an expectation of contributing to or growing a portable practice consistent with partner hiring.

Partner-level litigation experience in energy and/or environmental matters.
Proven trial and appellate advocacy record and experience with regulatory/enforcement proceedings.
Established client relationships and demonstrable business development ability; willingness to develop new opportunities in the region.
Excellent leadership, mentoring, and collaborative skills for a large, multidisciplinary team; admission to the Texas bar or eligibility to obtain admission.
