An AmLaw 100 full-service firm seeks an experienced attorney to join its Insurance Coverage Practice in the Houston office. The role involves analyzing insurance coverage and preparing coverage opinions on first-party property and general liability matters, with active litigation responsibilities.

The practice is a recognized leader in insurance coverage and claims, representing primary and excess insurers, reinsurers, third-party administrators, managing general agents, brokers and agents, and independent adjustment companies in complex coverage disputes. Work includes monitoring, mediations, arbitrations, and declaratory relief litigation in state and federal courts nationwide.

8–15 years of experience analyzing insurance coverage and preparing coverage opinions, particularly first-party property and general liability matters
Litigation experience, including taking depositions, attending court hearings, and drafting and arguing motions
Strong research and writing skills
Admission to the Texas Bar
