Top-tier national law firm seeking a junior associate to join a busy Environmental and Workplace Health & Safety practice in the Chicago office. The role offers broad exposure across environmental media, regulatory counseling, permitting, transactional support, and environmental and health & safety litigation for clients in multiple industries and jurisdictions.

The successful candidate will work on a mix of litigation and regulatory matters and will be expected to develop into a well-rounded environmental practitioner. The team emphasizes collaborative work, high-quality written advocacy, and responsive client service in a fast-paced environment.

1–3 years of post-qualification experience in environmental law, workplace health & safety, or related regulatory practice
Admission to the Illinois bar required
Strong academic record and excellent legal writing and communication skills
Detail-oriented, independent self-starter with strong project management skills
Prior government (e.g., EPA/ENRD) or clerkship experience preferred
Demonstrated commitment to pro bono work preferred
