Top-tier energy & infrastructure practice seeks a mid-level environmental associate with 3–5 years’ experience to join a national team operating across multiple U.S. offices. The role focuses on counseling clients on federal and state environmental law and supporting transactional and project-development matters.

Typical work includes advising on CERCLA, NEPA, Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act and RCRA issues; supporting permitting, project finance and M&A transactions; handling agency proceedings and enforcement matters; and coordinating with federal and state regulators. The team is collaborative and provides structured training and mentoring.

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and strong academic record
Bar admission in a U.S. jurisdiction and ability to meet local practice requirements
3–5 years of environmental law or permitting experience (law firm or government agency)
Experience advising on environmental aspects of M&A or project finance transactions preferred
Strong legal research, drafting and client-communication skills; proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a team setting
