Apply in confidence →Top-tier energy & infrastructure practice seeks a mid-level environmental associate with 3–5 years’ experience to join a national team operating across multiple U.S. offices. The role focuses on counseling clients on federal and state environmental law and supporting transactional and project-development matters.
Typical work includes advising on CERCLA, NEPA, Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act and RCRA issues; supporting permitting, project finance and M&A transactions; handling agency proceedings and enforcement matters; and coordinating with federal and state regulators. The team is collaborative and provides structured training and mentoring.
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and strong academic record
- Bar admission in a U.S. jurisdiction and ability to meet local practice requirements
- 3–5 years of environmental law or permitting experience (law firm or government agency)
- Experience advising on environmental aspects of M&A or project finance transactions preferred
- Strong legal research, drafting and client-communication skills; proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a team setting
