Top-tier international law firm seeks an Executive Compensation associate to join its Tax, Pensions, Employment & Incentives group. The role is open to candidates for the New York or Houston offices and involves advising public and private companies on remuneration, incentive plans and employment tax issues.

Work includes designing and implementing equity and cash-based compensation arrangements (all‑employee plans, LTIPs, MIPs, deferred compensation and bespoke packages), remuneration policy and governance, and advising on the executive‑pay aspects of corporate transactions such as M&A and IPOs. The team serves a broad industry client base and works across jurisdictions, providing a global perspective on market practice and regulatory developments.

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited US law school.
  • Strong academic record and prior experience in executive compensation and related employment agreements.
  • Practical experience designing, structuring and implementing equity‑based and cash compensation arrangements; familiarity with retention/separation agreements.
  • Experience advising on public and private M&A and the compensation aspects of corporate transactions.
  • Admitted to (or able to waive into) the New York or Texas Bar.
  • Prior experience at a peer law firm; strong teamwork and commercial client focus.
  • Preferred class years: 2020–2022. Submissions should include resume and law school transcript(s).
