Top-tier international law firm is seeking lateral associates to join its Tax Group in New York. The team advises on tax aspects of complex corporate transactions and provides ongoing tax planning and post-closing support across a range of cross-border matters.

The role will work closely with deal teams in areas such as M&A, capital markets and financial services. The group values creative, practical tax solutions and strong client service.

Minimum of 2 years' experience in a law firm tax practice
J.D. and admission (or eligibility) to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction
Experience advising on transactional tax matters (M&A, capital markets or related transactional work)
Strong academic background, drafting skills and ability to work collaboratively on cross-disciplinary deals
