Mid-level Finance Associate role in the global finance team of a leading international US law firm. The team advises banks, debt funds, private‑equity sponsors and corporates on domestic and cross‑border financings, with particular strength in leveraged and acquisition financings, unitranche/private credit and restructurings.

The role offers early client contact, responsibility on complex transactions and close collaboration with international offices. You will work on syndicated facilities, security/intercreditor arrangements, refinancings and related matters across Germany and cross‑border matters.

Minimum 2 years' relevant post‑qualified experience in finance/leveraged finance at an international firm or specialist boutique
German fully qualified lawyer (both Staatsexamina) with strong academic record
Proven understanding of financing structures and commercial awareness
Excellent written and spoken English; international experience (LL.M. or study abroad) advantageous
Team player with initiative, client focus and strong drafting/transactional skills
