Seeking a mid-level healthcare regulatory and enforcement associate to join a national healthcare practice based in Nashville. The role counsels providers and facilities on operational and regulatory matters, including Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, facility licensing, and healthcare fraud-and-abuse matters.

Work includes advising on Stark Law and anti-kickback issues, conducting regulatory risk assessments, supporting enforcement responses, and assisting on compliance matters tied to transactions and privacy. The team is collaborative and handles complex federal and state regulatory work for healthcare clients.

Position requires Nashville-based residency at hire and eligibility for Tennessee bar admission. The role has an in-office expectation of at least three business days per week.

  • 3–6 years' experience as a healthcare regulatory associate at a law firm or equivalent regulatory practice
  • Substantive experience with Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, facility licensing, and healthcare fraud, waste, and abuse issues
  • Familiarity with Stark Law, federal and state anti-kickback statutes, and healthcare compliance programs
  • Strong legal writing, attention to detail, and experience with regulatory risk assessment and enforcement matters
  • Licensed in Tennessee or prepared to obtain Tennessee bar admission; must reside in Nashville area at or before hire
  • Ability to work in office at least three business days per week
