The position provides subject-matter expertise on conflicts, ethics, and anti-money laundering matters, and supports intake, onboarding, and information-security stakeholders.
Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting and negotiating engagement terms and waiver letters, overseeing firmwide contracts and IT master services agreements, guiding conflicts and new-business procedures, and managing special projects for the Office of General Counsel and Risk Management.
- Juris Doctorate and active bar membership in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- Approximately 5–7 years’ experience in a law firm or in-house compliance/legal role.
- Deep working knowledge of the Model Rules of Professional Conduct and applicable ethics rules.
- Strong written and verbal communication, project management, and ability to meet tight deadlines while protecting confidentiality.
