Information Governance, Risk & Compliance Attorney

A leading global law firm is seeking an experienced attorney to join its information governance, risk and compliance function. This role focuses on the review and transfer of client data in connection with attorney departures, using eDiscovery and data management tools to safeguard client privileges and protect firm proprietary information.

The position works closely with internal teams to design and implement efficient workflows for reviewing attorney communications and work product, and to draft client transfer protocols and related communications. You will maintain detailed documentation across the review and transfer process, prepare and administer data reviews, and refine processes through automation and advanced analytics.

This is a collaborative, deadline-driven role suited to a self-directed professional who can manage competing priorities, communicate clearly with departing attorneys about timelines, and keep sensitive information secure throughout.

• Juris Doctor degree
• At least five (5) years of related work experience
• Advanced knowledge of eDiscovery and data management tools and best practices
• Extensive experience using Relativity as an end user to review and code documents
• Direct experience applying artificial intelligence and analytics tools to manage, evaluate and review data
• Ideally, direct experience using Relativity as an administrator
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong project management skills
• Ability to recognize and protect client privileges, proprietary information, intellectual property and other sensitive data
• Ability to handle and maintain confidential information and to work under tight deadlines while prioritizing multiple projects
