Apply in confidence →Join an established global legal team as an in-house Data Privacy Lawyer on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. You will support the Data Protection Officer and the Office of General Counsel on UK/EU data protection, cybersecurity and e‑privacy compliance across the firm's UK offices and internationally.
Typical work includes advising on UK and EU GDPR issues (including complex international data transfers), supporting vendor and security due diligence, preparing DPIAs, responding to data subject requests, and contributing to training, policy reviews and privacy governance. The role offers flexible and hybrid working options based in any UK office.
- England & Wales qualified solicitor
- 1–5 PQE handling data protection and privacy matters
- Practical experience advising on UK/EU GDPR, international data transfers and DPIAs
- Experience with vendor security due diligence, contracts and e‑privacy/commercial privacy issues
- Strong stakeholder and communication skills; ability to provide pragmatic, commercially aware advice across business functions
