A growing Infrastructure, Projects & Energy team in Leeds is seeking an Associate (3+ PQE) to work across major energy, transport, utilities and social‑infrastructure matters. The role offers exposure to a mix of large national mandates and smaller transactional and advisory work, with opportunities to develop a specialist or broad project practice.

The team works with a range of developers, utilities, transport operators, public bodies and financial sponsors on project development, procurement, M&A and related commercial and regulatory matters. The role sits in a collaborative, high‑support environment with formal associate development and mentoring.

This is a hands‑on role where you will draft and negotiate complex contracts, support project delivery and engage directly with clients across renewables, networks, transport and social infrastructure.

  • Minimum 3 years' PQE in Infrastructure/Projects & Energy, Corporate/M&A or commercial contracts experience.
  • Strong technical drafting, negotiation and interpretation skills on complex project and commercial contracts.
  • Familiarity or interest in project development, public procurement, PFI/PPP models and energy/transport sector matters.
  • Client‑facing, commercial mindset and ability to work in a team and manage competing priorities.
