The role will sit within a collaborative practice that works alongside specialist disputes colleagues on higher-risk matters.
You will lead on complex procurement matters for contracting authorities and bidders, manage procurement workstreams on multi-disciplinary projects, and provide commercially focused advice on procurement strategy, direct awards, contract modifications and regulatory compliance.
This is a career-advancing role with responsibility for supervising junior lawyers, contributing to business development and thought leadership, and helping drive practice development and client growth.
- Qualified lawyer with 6+ years’ post-qualification experience in public procurement or utilities procurement.
- Proven experience leading complex procurement matters and managing multi-disciplinary project workstreams.
- Demonstrable experience supervising and developing junior lawyers and building strong client relationships.
- Strong technical drafting, negotiation, analytical and commercial skills, plus appetite for business development and profile-raising activity.
