Leading New York law firm seeks a partner to head and grow a policyholder-focused insurance coverage practice. The role centers on counseling corporate clients, driving coverage disputes and litigation against carriers, and managing complex coverage evaluations.

The partner will also play an active role on transactional matters, including insurance aspects of M&A and representation & warranties coverage. The position offers a strong platform and opportunity to build a team and originate work; a portable book of business is helpful but not required.

Established partner with demonstrable insurance coverage experience on the policyholder side
Proven track record in coverage counseling, litigation strategies against carriers, and handling complex insurance policies
Experience supporting M&A due diligence and representation & warranties insurance preferred
Strong client development skills and ability to lead or build a team; portable business a plus
Admission to relevant bar (New York) and ability to work in the jurisdiction
