Top-tier law firm is seeking an Insurance Recovery Associate to join its nationally recognized Insurance Recovery and Counseling practice in Indianapolis. The role focuses on policyholder-side coverage work, complex recovery matters, and strategic counseling across multiple industries.

The successful candidate will handle insurance coverage litigation, arbitrations, and dispute resolution involving D&O, cyber, RWI, CGL, environmental, E&O, property/business interruption and other first- and third-party coverages. Responsibilities include drafting coverage analyses and litigation papers, advising clients on recovery strategy, working with insurers and brokers, and supporting all phases of litigation from discovery through trial preparation.

This is a collaborative position with substantial responsibility, client contact, and clear advancement pathways within a well-established national practice.

At least 4 years of relevant experience in insurance recovery, coverage litigation, or policyholder-side counseling
Demonstrated experience representing policyholders on coverage disputes and recovery strategy
Excellent legal research, analytical, writing, and oral advocacy skills
Ability to manage matters independently while working effectively on teams
J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the applicable state bar (or ability to obtain admission promptly)
Federal clerkship experience is a plus
