The role offers hands‑on litigation work within a collaborative team and regular client engagement across multiple U.S. offices, with primary hiring opportunities in Chicago and Philadelphia.
Ideal candidates have experience with Hatch‑Waxman, biosimilars, or related pharmaceutical patent matters and bring strong technical literacy in molecular biology, cellular biology, or biochemistry. Advanced scientific degrees (M.S. or Ph.D.) are a plus but not required. The group provides structured professional development and mentorship for mid‑level litigators.
Candidates must be barred and eligible to practice in the state of the office to which they apply and should demonstrate excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
- 3–5 years of litigation experience at a large law firm, with substantive patent litigation exposure
- Background in molecular biology, cellular biology, biochemistry, or equivalent scientific training; M.S. or Ph.D. preferred but not required
- Experience with Hatch‑Waxman, biosimilars, or pharmaceutical patent disputes strongly preferred
- Active bar membership and eligibility to practice in the state of the selected office
- Strong legal research, writing, communication, and organizational skills
