Interim role supporting trading and investment teams in Hong Kong on a broad range of derivatives and financial markets matters. You will provide day-to-day legal advice on trading documentation, clearing and execution processes, prime brokerage and collateral arrangements, and counterparty onboarding.

The role sits within a flexible interim resourcing programme operated by a major international firm and involves close collaboration with an overseas legal team. You will receive sponsorship and ongoing support from the firm while working on-site with the business.

Typical duties include negotiating and reviewing ISDA master agreements and CSAs, advising on clearing and execution documentation, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external counsel, and identifying commercial, legal and regulatory risk for pragmatic solutions.

Qualified lawyer with approximately 6+ years' PQE.
Strong experience advising on derivatives, ISDA documentation, clearing and prime brokerage agreements.
Prior in-house experience at a hedge fund, asset manager, investment bank or similar financial institution preferred; buy-side experience advantageous.
Comfortable working independently in Hong Kong while collaborating with an overseas legal team; strong commercial judgement and stakeholder management skills.
