Senior Associate opportunity in a leading international funds and regulatory practice based in Hong Kong. The role involves advising on fund formation, structuring, offering and distribution, regulatory compliance, and fund-related transactions for a mix of local and cross-border clients.

Responsibilities include providing SFC and other regulatory advice, handling licensing and filings, drafting and negotiating fund documentation and side letters, advising on digital assets/tokenisation matters, supporting ESG/sustainable finance work, and supervising junior team members.

Qualified solicitor in Hong Kong or another common law jurisdiction
Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience in investment funds, asset management or financial regulatory work (ideally at an international law firm)
Strong technical knowledge of Hong Kong funds and regulatory frameworks; experience with cross-border matters
Experience advising on digital assets/tokenisation preferred; ESG experience advantageous
Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills in English; proficiency in Cantonese or Mandarin an advantage
