Apply in confidence →Seeking a 2nd–6th year associate to join a national intellectual property litigation team focused on life sciences and pharmaceutical matters, including Hatch-Waxman/ANDA work. The role involves substantive courtroom and PTAB exposure and active participation in case strategy.
Responsibilities include factual and legal research, drafting pleadings and motion practice, involvement in discovery and expert work on infringement, validity and damages issues, taking and defending depositions, and supporting pre-trial and trial activities. Candidates will work closely with litigation teams and interact directly with clients and opposing counsel.
- 2–6 years of patent litigation experience in U.S. District Courts and before the PTAB, with ANDA experience preferred
- Demonstrated courtroom experience and deposition experience (preferred actual trial/deposition exposure)
- Experience with claim construction, dispositive and discovery motions, and expert discovery
- Undergraduate or master’s degree in a life sciences field (biology, chemistry, biochemistry) preferred
- Excellent legal writing and oral advocacy skills; ability to collaborate on strategy and communicate with clients
