Senior associate role in a large, full-service international law firm’s IP practice. The position will involve both patent litigation and patent prosecution work across a range of technologies, with opportunities to handle complex, high‑profile matters alongside experienced litigators.

This opening is available across multiple U.S. offices (including Boston, Denver, New York, Palo Alto and Washington, D.C., with additional opportunities in several West Coast locations). Candidates should be prepared to contribute to courtroom and pre‑trial work, as well as take part in prosecution and client counseling.

Juris Doctor (JD) and active bar admission in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction (or eligibility to obtain admission)
Substantial experience in patent litigation, with additional experience in patent prosecution preferred
Technical background in chemistry, life sciences, or related technology preferred
Strong written and oral advocacy skills; trial and brief‑writing experience is a plus
Willingness to work across multiple office locations and on cross‑office matters; academic transcripts required
