Experienced IT/technology lawyer sought to join a global firm's flexible legal resourcing platform in Melbourne. The role is focused on technology transactions, privacy/data protection and data security matters across commercial and outsourcing contexts.

The successful candidate will operate as a senior consultant in a hybrid/flexible model, working on large technology contracts, procurement and vendor negotiations, and advising on SaaS, cloud and infrastructure agreements. The role suits a self-starting, commercially minded lawyer able to work autonomously and deliver to tight timelines.

Minimum 6 years' post-qualification experience in technology law
Specialist experience in technology transactions, privacy/data protection and data security
Proven experience drafting and negotiating large technology contracts, procurement/tender documents and vendor agreements
Experience with SaaS, infrastructure, cloud and outsourcing arrangements
Commercial judgement, ability to prioritise and work autonomously
Right to live and work in Australia and ability to hold or obtain a current practising certificate
Willingness to engage via an incorporated legal practice or on a casual/contract basis
