Apply in confidence →Senior real-estate-focused knowledge attorney role open across multiple U.S. offices (New York preferred). This position sits at the intersection of transactional real estate practice, knowledge management, and applied AI — translating emerging technology into practical drafting tools, precedents, playbooks, and workflows used by deal teams.
The role partners with practice groups, KM, IT, and practice support teams to evaluate and prototype AI-assisted solutions, lead pilots, and deploy document automation and knowledge products that improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability across acquisitions, dispositions, financing, leasing, development, joint ventures and related matters. The role will also capture practitioner feedback and lead training to drive adoption.
This position reports to senior legal operations and knowledge leadership and requires a lawyer who combines real estate transactional credibility with an innovator’s mindset and hands-on experience applying technology to legal work.
- J.D. (or equivalent) and admission to practice in the U.S. state where based; in good standing.
- Minimum ~4 years of transactional real estate experience; other transactional backgrounds considered.
- Demonstrated interest and practical perspective on applying AI, automation, or other emerging technologies to legal workflows; technical or coding experience strongly valued.
- Experience developing or maintaining precedents, templates, playbooks, or KM resources for transactional matters.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, discretion with confidential information, and ability to lead training and stakeholder engagement.
