Knowledge Lawyer — Debt Finance, Luxembourg

Join a global debt finance team providing lender- and borrower-side advice across leveraged finance, asset finance, real estate and infrastructure finance, fund finance, syndicated lending and private credit. The role focuses on researching complex legal questions and turning technical analysis into practical, client-ready outputs.

Key responsibilities include drafting legal memoranda, practice notes and client briefings; maintaining and developing the team's template and know‑how library; coordinating local and cross‑office knowledge initiatives; and supporting internal training and knowledge‑sharing events.

The role requires close collaboration with fee-earners across seniority levels to ensure consistent, up-to-date knowledge resources and to support execution of complex cross-border financings.

  • Qualified lawyer with excellent academic record and strong drafting experience.
  • Experience or demonstrable interest in debt finance (leveraged finance, lending, asset-backed finance) and related areas such as security/collateral and insolvency.
  • Strong research, analytical and project-management skills; experience producing legal memoranda, practice notes or publications.
  • Fluent English and French; German and/or Luxembourgish an advantage.
  • Highly organised, self-motivated, team-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with Word, PowerPoint and Outlook; experience with knowledge-management tools a plus.
